Plant and origin
Camomile is an annual herb indigenous to Europe and western Asia and now naturalized in parts of North Africa, North America, India and South America.
Due to it’s numerous application possibilities, camomile is probably the best known medicinal plant. It has been used since ancient times by great doctors such as Hippocrates and Dioscorides.
